]]> Lucinda A. Kauffman, OD, FAAO joined Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania in September 2020 as a comprehensive eye care specialist and optometrist after completing a residency in primary care/ocular disease at the Eye Institute of Salus University.

Dr. Kauffman received her Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in Biology with a concentration in pre-optometry from Shippensburg University in 2015. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree, summa cum laude, from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in May 2019. She completed ocular disease management clinical externships in both hospital group practice and private practice as well as an internship in low vision.

She completed advanced studies involving contact lenses and earned numerous accolades for her academic work and achievement.

Dr. Kauffman became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in November 2021.

She sees patients at the Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania Wyomissing and Blandon locations.

Her professional society memberships include:

  • Pennsylvania Optometric Association
  • Berks County Optometric Society

]]> Linda A Whitaker, OD, who joined Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania, PC in 2019, graduated with her Master of Science degree from Saint Joseph’s University in January 2017. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1986 and her Bachelor of Science degree in 1983, both from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Ursinus College in 1981. She is a Wilson High School graduate, class of 1977.

Dr. Whitaker is experienced in the management of anterior segment disease, glaucoma, cataract co-management, diabetic eye disease, low vision and comprehensive eye care.
